How to Buy a House?

Did you know that there is no charge to you when I help you find your new home?

Did you know that I will not only assist you in locating suitable homes, but will schedule private showings for you?

Did you know that I will help you find a lender who will help you determine what you can afford and provide you with a Qualifying letter that we will submit with your purchase offer to make your offer stronger?

Did you know that I will assist you in making the offer, in negotiating, preparing contingencies, inspections, and in assuring that everything is in order when it comes to closing on your house.

Did you know that I will continue to be available to you after the sale as well?

What type of home do you want?

Are you looking for a single family home, a condominium, a town home, or perhaps income property?

What type of home best suits your needs?  How many bedrooms do you need on one level?

Are you prepared to do lawn care or do you want to pay an association that does this work for you?

Think about the commuting time of different neighborhoods to your work - not just how far they are - but how long is the actual commute during rush hour?

Walk the neighborhood.  Are the homes well cared for?  How is the traffic?  Ask your Realtor to find out what the walk score is for a particular neighborhood.    The Walk Score is a measure from 1 - 100 that measures the walkability of any address.  A score of 90-100 means that you do not need a car for daily errands.
